
Operations Manager
Operations Manager Position Description:
Responsible for supporting Habitat for Humanity, The Heart of Wyoming’s staff by performing general administrative and operations duties. The operations manager will perform a variety of activities, including office management, customer service, writing, researching, event support, accounts payable, assistance with property evaluation, and database entry. This is a part-time (20-30 hours/week) position at the administrative office of Habitat for Humanity, The Heart of Wyoming office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations Duties
-
Answering phone calls, routing calls, and taking messages.

Maintaining the office space by keeping it clean and free from clutter.

Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail, including bulk mail.

Update and maintain mailing lists and databases.

Produce mailing labels and reports as requested.

Order office supplies and monitor inventory.

Prepare deposits and incoming invoices for approval.

Post payments and print checks for incoming invoices.
Support Duties

Assist with the compilation of necessary statistical reports as requested.

Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees and community members.

Assist with various program operations as requested.

Attend appropriate meetings and professional development opportunities.

Assist in the planning of special events as requested.

Assist with the evaluation of future build locations.
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Preferred Education and Experience:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a preference for a certificate, Associate’s degree (AA), or higher in business, management, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of related experience is required. Knowledge and experience with Habitat for Humanity’s mission and service population is preferred.
Other Requirements:
The ability to do one or more of the following throughout the day is required: stand, walk, sit, bend, and reach above/below shoulder level, as well as frequent repetitive motions (typing, filing, etc.).

Hourly range of $16.00 to $20.00 per hour
